A lot of people think that if they go to church or their parents are Christians that they are automatically a Christian. There's an old saying that illustrates the problem with that thinking:
| If you put a sleeping bag and cot out in your garage and you began to daily live there, would that make you a car? Of course not! Neither does living in a plane make you pilot or living in hospital a doctor! So it is with being a Christian. Just because you attend a church or live in a house with other Christians, that does not make you a Christian. Even knowing about Jesus doesn't make you a Christian. Then what does? Glad you asked!
